The residential options of Charlotte’s South End neighborhood are growing rapidly.  The neighborhood is a great place to call due to its proximity to Uptown, major highways, and the availability of public transportation. It is the home of several breweries, live music, great food, and plenty of festivals. The South End Strategic Plan had 6 goals:  Develop Camden Road as the natural neighborhood center, nurture authentic neighborhood retail, plan and develop a public realm of parks, open space, and recreation activities, improve neighborhood connectivity, raise the development bar, and to keep South End accessible to those who make it great.  Planners are now working on the South End Vision Plan.
