Valle Crucis is a stunning picturesque community located between Boone and Banner Elk. It is perfectly nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and caters to visitors with a handful of restaurants and the historic Mast Farm and Mast General Store. The Watauga River flows through the town and the Valle Crucis Community Park.  The park provides access for wading and fly fishing.  It also has a 1-mile paved path, playgrounds and open recreation space.
