Uptown is the geographical center of Charlotte. Within Uptown there are four Wards, two of which have great housing options. The First Ward was once public housing, but has grown into a mixed-income neighborhood.  In the First Ward you can find craftsman style homes, apartments, townhouses, and condominiums. Access to public transportation and the city make the area an ideal place to buy a home.  Fourth Ward is the most historically preserved part of Uptown.  It’s an ideal place to call home.
